Miriam Kashia | Jeff, you asked us to contemplate what we've realized, learned, and are taking away from this 30 days: - Confirmation that I am (already) AWAKE and have always been. Now I can clearly see and affirm it. - Diminished focus on mental meanderings and more awareness of Awareness. - Reduced stress, anxiety and sadness in my life. - Confirmation that the "Search" is over. Done. - More care about my lifestyle with regard to Nourishing my Soul (Ex. what I … | Pending |
Manon Desjardins | Dear Jeff, I feel pulled to share my response here as I cannot be present today at the last session with you all. Your question yesterday stirred a deep reflection that was resonating with what you had shared. These 30 days have been a blessing and I feel the new "wave" of being in the world for me... I sense a strong invitation and pull toward the light of my Being and let it shine for everyone to see and … | Pending |
Kathleen Mezoff | In light of our discussions of soul development through these 30 days, I feel compelled to share this quote I read today from John O'Donohue's ANAM CARA (p. 49). It may be valuable for contemplation for others, as it is for me: "Your body is, in essence, a crowd of different members who work in harmony to make your belonging in the world possible. We should avoid the false dualism that separates the soul from the body. The soul is … | Pending |
Annelou Perrenoud | Dear Jeff, While you were so eloquently praising the totality of life (Friday, August 5) and while we were rapturously following you into deep gratitude, my friend E. was deliberately and purposefully fulfilling her pledge to avoid the miseries of prolonged dementia by depriving her physical body of nourishment and letting it die. It was not a snap decision on her part, but a carefully planned process, choreographed to perfection in every possible way. Supported by Home Hospice she reached … | View |

Don Robitaille | Hi, I'm not sure if you asked this ? or not. "What have we seen in our lives as a result of the Retreat?? It's a bit difficult, as I struggle some, for words. I'll just go with words without sentences: Freed up, Opened, Clarity, Altered and Expanded Perspectives, Joy, Me and Time Disappearing, Spiritual Experiences, Pleasure at 80, Brilliance, Love, Devine Connection, GRATITUDE. Thank you Jeff and Collective. DoN | Pending |
Chantal Kelly | Hi Jeff, thanks for your answer to Jennifer‘s question that we’ll probably come back if we lose our minds. I stopped the process earlier in the retreat because I was afraid I’d go crazy and wouldn’t come back… But after hearing your answer, I was able to rest in remembering that I’m conscious awareness.. So I’ve been letting go more..and yesterday, I felt my physical edges dissolving and it was fine… I was more relaxed this time. From this vantage … | Pending |
Jayme Armstrong | Hello Jeff, I've returned this year to the 30-day retreat after a year away. I don't have a question - rather a reflection from such a full heart and place of wonder and discovery. Your teaching arrives to a place over here so perfectly. The spaciousness and the spareness of your invitation and instruction was so deep today. As an aphant, i.e. having no mind's eye, human, I used to feel deficient at meditation since so much of meditation has … | View |
Daniel Dreher | MoM 2022 - Group Post Please consider all of the following post shared in it’s direct relevance to the many cultural currents of our shared experiences during this 30-Day MoM Retreat. Last evening, acting on the heartfelt beckoning of my beloved wife, we watched together one of the most extraordinary documentaries either of us has ever seen. For context, she watched it for the first time just this past Saturday during her morning flight from the west coast back to … | Pending |
Chantal Kelly | Thanks, Jeff, I love your answer to my question. My inner achiever (who I really enjoy) felt terrified…💥 But as I’ve leaned into your suggestion, my inner mystic loves keeping it really simple by continuing to not make a problem out of anything, being free and easy and just resting in pure receptivity.. This aligns with my 2022 intention of “Year of Freedom.” I attune daily to “I’m born anew and I’ve already arrived…”. (With the idea that there’s nothing … | View |

Linda Smith | Thank you Daniel for sharing your Oracle card experience which has prompted me to share mine. I received my cards a week or so before MoM started. Each night I shuffled the cards, would select one, not look at it but put it under my pillow so I would sleep on it and then read it in the morning. I still do that! What blew me away was before Jeff made his selection in the run of say 8 or … | Pending |
Manon Desjardins | Dear Jeff, dear everyone! I want to share my deep gratitude and appreciation to all of you. And also to everyone that shared and held the space of meditation during the 24 hours of silence we did. Some of us as much as me were granted with illumination moments and maybe even breakthroughs. And we still have another week to be together... my heart is singing and my mind is blowed away... what a joy! Jeff, I am in awe! … | Pending |

Miriam Kashia | I am experiencing a deep "letting go" when I meditate on this retreat, and am very grateful for your guidance. My dilemma is that I cannot carry it forward into my life. I am a deeply concerned climate activist and also very concerned about the many crises in our broken world. I don't know how to maintain "no problem" and stay at peace when I engage with the world. What am I missing? | View |
Manon Desjardins | Dear Jeff, and hello everyone, I am realizing with each more day we come together not only a deepening of the meditation practice but also that it is not the practice in itself that is the focus of my attention, what is emerging is the realization, the capacity to become aware of the "fabric" from which we all are made of, our come from and what we are!. The very fabric of existence is who I am, is what we … | View |
Chantal Kelly | Hi Jeff, big thank you and grand merci! 🙏 As a result of not making a problem out of anything and leaning into being free and easy, a few days ago around day 12, after about 10 minutes, I started noticing a feeling of joy arising from my root chakra and slowly spreading throughout my body, rising to fill my heart and circulating throughout my system like a new circulatory system… At first it felt like satisfaction that I was … | View |
Kathleen Mezoff | Not a question; a comment and a sharing. Your teachings are allowing me to return to my roots with integrity and meaning, Jeff. This rendition of "The Lord's Prayer" - translated from Aramaic directly into English, rather than from Aramaic to Greek to Latin to English has the same resonant effect on me, and may vibrate with others: O cosmic Birther of all radiance and vibration, soften the ground of our being and carve out a space within us where … | Pending |
Susan Hillbrand | With this writing and half way through retreat I am starting with what is arising for me and at the end there are questions. Don Robitaille | Jeff, Not a ?, however, I humbly believe this could be of value to the Collective. I learned from the Re Listen program led by Rick, et al, that I had missed portions of the live Path...... Event. This Retreat, I'm not taking notes. What I am doing … | View |
Lawrence Wolfe | Dear Jeff, I am experiencing a deepening and a quickening as a result of the instructions you are giving and the authentic presence of support you and the group provides. Many books have been written about “Letting Go” but it seems to be happening spontaneously more and more under your transmission. Yet when you talk about “Conscious Contentment” I get pushed back across the meditation line into my external life. At that moment I feel confused that I am creating … | View |
John Clarke | With respect to the issue of using “let it go” or “let it be”, these formulations are both imperative mode. They are both commands. Ramana’s great discovery was the power of the interrogatory mode. Asking the open-ended question “who am I.” Therefore, I suggest using the interrogatory mode. For example, “ Could I let it go?” “Would I let it be?” I personally find this a much more potent approach. | View |

Jennifer Cantor | When I think that this is all there is, there is initially a bit of disappointment... then an exhale...then just being...where it feels quite ok, even sweet. However, that's when I'm sitting quietly. When I'm busy with my life I still tend to get caught up in the ordinary array of emotions, plans, etc. I'll be taking a trip in Sept., mostly for work, but it'll be my first getaway in 3 years and it's exciting to do the legwork … | View |
Marilyn Roossinck | Dear Jeff, Sometimes I feel a fuzziness around the distinction between working on/resolving our negative stories, our "issues", our past and current traumas, and meditation. Is there a place for these stories in our meditation, or in there a place for meditation in dealing with these stories? with love, Marilyn R | View |
Carolee Jones | Just to clarify, the miracle of transformation through meditation is not a one-time transformation. There are an infinite number of transformations possible ahead, correct? Lawrence Wolfe | Dear Jeff, I haven’t written back since your first answer to me as the answer’s effect needed integration. I took a step away from mind identification as a result for which I am so grateful. Yet Sylvia’s question and your response lit up a belief system hidden in the darkness. This idea of Big Heart and Divine Love has always been something I struggle to engage. Although the stories, metaphors, and teachers who speak about it attract me and give … | View |

Jennifer Cantor | So grateful for your generous and thoughtful responses both here and in yesterday's meeting (which I listened to last night). They're extremely helpful. Jennifer Cantor | Just going over my notes from yesterday's meeting and realized upon reflection that when I have a block of free time (3 hours or so) I never choose to sit in meditation. That seems like something someone would do in relation to a teacher-- trying to please the teacher or be a good student. I'm not sure how to choose it autonomously. (I can't be at our meeting today or tomorrow but look forward to hearing the recordings). | View |

Jennifer Cantor | Is listening "doing something?" I love sitting still in nature, listening to the sounds and silence, and sometimes do that for hours quite happily. Sometimes there is a small loss of separation and a subtle feeling of heartbreak mixed with awe at the splendor of it all. Does this count as meditation, or is it a kind of cheating since it's such an enjoyable experience? | View |

Jennifer Cantor | What do we do when our minds wander during meditation? Should I keep bringing my attention back to the breath and reconnecting with what is happening now? (This question was transcribed from the day one session) | View |
