I am very excited to be introducing you to two luminaries that I have had the privilege of knowing for twenty years. In my previous spiritual community, Lovena Vencatakistnen, Tom Huston and I did spiritual practice, studied mystical philosophy, and shared the ups and downs of the spiritual path together.

Recently, I have been thrilled to experience how their spiritual live has grown and evolved, and in particular to see how many of their interests are so similar to my own. When I saw that they were offering an 8-week program in soul activation, I thought is was a wonderful opportunity to have a public conversation about it all.

During this 90-minute event, Lovena and Tom will join me for an exploration of the reality of the soul and the role that it plays in our growth. It will be an opportunity for the three of us to speak a little about our shared history, and even more importantly how our spiritual journeys have continued to grow since.

The soul was not an important theme in the community that we were part of. At that time, our focus was on the liberation of awareness and the realization of nondual oneness. Since that time, we have gained a greater appreciation for the part of ourselves that exists beyond the bounds of time and space.

Whether you believe in reincarnation or not, it seems that our life did not start at birth and will not end when we die. There is an essential part of us that exists beyond this one lifetime and it has become clear to me that paying attention to that part of ourselves is crucial, not just to our spiritual life, but to our life here on Earth as well.
