During the conversation Charles emphasizes that while AI can simulate empathy, insight, and even spiritual language with remarkable sophistication, it fundamentally lacks presence: the living, relational quality at the heart of genuine spiritual transmission. Ultimately, he affirms that the deepest human need is not information, interpretation, or simulation, but direct, embodied presence with other living beings – something AI can imitate, but never replace.
