A Love Stronger than Death

Michael discovers a diary written in the sixteenth century and contacts the Brazilian woman named Maria who left her email address on a slip of paper in the book. As the two exchange letters, Michael learns more about Maria and her friend, the mysterious and kind-hearted former priest whose tragic and brutal past have left him homeless and desolate. Soon Michael finds his quiet life is overwhelmed by strange and unnatural occurrences that eventually force him to travel to Brazil in search of answers. The diary itself seems to be the key to a mystery that spans centuries, but the closer Michael gets to Maria, the more he seems to lose his memory of anything he read in the old book. When the people mentioned in the diary begin to appear in Michael’s life he is forced to continually question his own sanity as he encounters the magic of an indigenous culture that had mastered the ability to travel through time.
