Marguerite Sexton
Marguerite is the visionary founder of Journeys of the Heart, a vibrant, independent, non-denominational ceremonial ministry established in 1996. She authored a comprehensive anthology of adaptable ceremonies that has guided more than 10,000 meaningful life events—including weddings, baby blessings, and memorial services—performed by a staff of 25 dedicated officiants.
After the loss of her son, Ron Silberstein in 2015, she launched Grief Warrior, Life after Loss, a heartfelt blog offering support and solidarity for those experiencing the deep sorrow of child loss. Building upon this initiative, she founded Moms Rising Together, a support group for grieving mothers.
