True Meditation
Find the meditation that was already there
before you sat down
True meditation is always there
long before you arrive.
Meditation was happening before you were born.
And when you stop meditating,
it goes on.
Meditation doesn’t end when you do.
It continues because it’s always there.
Find the meditation that is always there.
The one that was waiting there before you sat down.
The one that was waiting for you to be born.
The one that will go on after you leave,
and continues after this lifetime comes to an end.
Find the meditation that always is
and rest in that alone.
The eternal meditation is being itself.
It is now, always was, and always will be.
It is life everlasting.
Anything you think you do is irrelevant
because it is always perfect.
Being always is, and you are always that.
Being is your true self, your true home,
your source and your nature.
You are pure awareness, pure consciousness, pure being,
life everlasting, life eternal.
Who you think you are,
and whatever you think you’re doing,
do not change the truth
of life eternal and everlasting.
